Data hosting location

The data hosting location determines where your scan data is stored and which legal and data protection regulations apply. Select the option that matches your compliance and security requirements, as this decision cannot be changed later.

Scan File Requirements for RIIICO Processing

To ensure smooth processing, uploaded point clouds must meet the following requirements:

  1. File Format
Only .e57 files are supported. Other formats are currently not supported.

Tip: Export your scan explicitly as .e57 from your scanner software.
  2. Color Information
All points must have RGB color values. Scans without color information can currently not be processed.

Tip: Make sure color capture is enabled while scanning and verify
the scan in a viewer (e.g., NavVis, CloudCompare).
  3. Point Density
Select the highest-density point cloud available. Low-density clouds can cause missing details or processing errors.

Tip: Compare point counts in your scanner software and choose
    the largest cloud.

Please use the sample scan as a reference file if needed. In case your scan file is rejected, please contact sales.

Scanning device

Different scanning technologies perform differently in real-world environments. Select the scanning device used to ensure optimal results. If the device is not listed, please select Other.
